Year 9 Graduation 2019

Year 9 Graduation 2019

The grade 9s graduation took place at the Scandic Star Hotel on Tuesday 11th June. Mr Östling Huhta hosted the evening welcoming all of the students and their family members to an evening of celebration of the grade 9s and their achievements. Dressed in their traditional blue gowns and hats, the students received their graduation certificates on stage from the Principal. The highlights of the evening were the heart-warming speech given by Simi Dean, Cani Amin and Bsmle Faris, and the piano recital performed by Ben Meng with a piece of music he had written himself.

Thank you to all staff involved in making the evening such a special one.

Well done to the young journalists and the editor Ms. A. Dunnell (Art Teacher) for putting this professional magazine together.

Sports Day 2019

Sports Day 2019

The weather was perfect for a day outside playing all their favourite games and sports. Football, Yoga, Volleyball, American Football, Swimming, Garden Games and Basketball were some of the activities the students enjoyed at this year's IES Kista Sports Day. The sun shone and everybody smiled for the event which was at Kärsögården on Tuesday May 14th.

A big thanks has to go to Ms Garcia, Head of PE, and the PE teachers for all their hard work putting the event together.
